Digital Photography

5 day daytime Summer School Course

With: Victoria Ahrens (MA)

Learn the basics of taking good photographs with your digital camera. This course is designed to teach you how to use your camera for more creative purposes. Through one and two day projects you will learn to frame, balance and shoot photographs in order to document, and find creative outcomes to a series of visual projects. Whether you want to think more creatively and have fun understanding this medium, or whether you are interested in photography for portfolio purposes, this course will give you the opportunity to explore the depictive, mental and physical level of the photographic process.

The course is suitable for beginners as well as those with some experience. Through workshops and group discussions, short project briefs and reviews discover the language of digital photography. You will need to bring your own digital camera (it does not need to be an SLR camera- any camera will do!)
