Resin Jewellery

5 Week Evening Course

On this course you will make an original design by carving a piece of jewellery wax which is then used as a master to make your own moulds for pouring resin. Once a mould is made it can be used numerous times to cast several pieces in a range of colours. You will also learn to pour resin in pre-made moulds, embed objects and enhance your pieces with colour.

You will learn:

• to carve wax to make original design
• to make a silicone mould for pouring resin
• to cast resin
• to add pigment to resin for colours
• to embedded objects into transparent resin
• to combine silver and resin into your designs

You will make: a range of rings, pendants and earrings.

Suitable for: this course is intended for people who have done some jewellery making before and want to learn contemporary techniques and broaden their skills.
