One Day Class

Spend a day designing and making a piece of silver jewellery
that is a true expression of your personal style. You will be introduced to a range of jewellery techniques, working in silver wire and sheet silver to create a small collection of silver jewellery. At the end of the class you will go home with a piece of silver jewellery that you can wear and be proud of.

The day will begin with a few demonstrations on how to use jewellery tools and techniques such as shaping, cutting, texturing and soldering silver. You will leave with some basic skills that will enable you to continue making jewellery at home.

What you will make: On the day you will design and make a pair of silver earrings and a ring.

'Silver Jewellery 1' is part of a series of 3 one-day classes, any or all of which can be taken in any order. In each class different pieces of jewellery are made and all the classes are ideal for beginners. If you leave the class eager for more you can attend a five week evening course which is held every six weeks.

The class sizes are small and each person will receive one to one attention. All materials are provided and will include, silver sheet, wire and glass beads. You will be provided with a list of suppliers and instruction to continue making your own silver jewellery at home.

Cost: £95.00 per person including all materials.
