Wire Jewellery

One Day Class

Working with wire is an excellent way to create beautiful jewellery at home. You will learn to combine wire and beads to create jewellery pieces such as a necklace, earring and bracelet and how to maximise the use of your pliers.

The day will begin with a few demonstrations and you will learn a range of wire techniques such as wrapping beads, making links, using jumprings, using a wig-jig, making claps and earring hooks. You will then spend the rest of the day using these techniques to make your own jewellery.

What you will make: Two pairs of earrings and a bracelet.

This class is perfect for beginners or anyone who is interested in furthering their skill in beaded and wire jewellery.

The class sizes are small and each person will receive one to one attention. All materials are provided and will include wire and glass beads. You will be provided with a list of suppliers and instruction to continue making your own silver jewellery at home.
